    The R12 Offsite Regional 55-Mile Endurance Championship was held in conjunction with the Sand Hills Stampede Endurance Ride March 16th.  AHA and R12 Member Patsy Gowen is responsible for these rides and does a fantastic job working with the Ride Manager, Tim Worden.  The rides are held in the sandy hills YES, there is  ( LOTS of sand and LOTS of hills) in South Carolina, with base camp being at the H. Cooper Black Field Trial and Recreation Area near Patrick, SC.

Race for Purebred Championship


 All four Half Arabian entries completed the championship, with nine entries in the Purebred Championship where six successfully completed the ride.  On the first day of the Sand Hills Stampede, there was an AHA Recognized 55-Mile Ride held on with 35 entries.

The R12 Offsite  Regional 100-mile Endurance Championship will be held May 3 at the Biltmore Estates in North Carolina.
